A coroner’s inquest into the death of an Atikokan man has concluded.
21-year-old Dylan Wreggitt died of a drug overdose while he was lodged at the Fort Frances Jail in August 2009.
A jury has issued 8-recommendations after 2-days of testimony.
They include having the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services making resources available to staff for enhanced training regarding drug screening.
The Fort Frances Jail is also being asked to consider using OPP K-9 Units to conduct random weekly searches of the cells.
