An inquest into the death of a Fort Frances Man will be held in Dryden next month.
It will look at the circumstances surrounding the death of 74-year-old Edwin Davis, and the jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar deaths.
It will begin on May 21st, and is expected to last four days with approximately six witnesses speaking.
Ontario Provincial Police pulled the body of Davis from Manitou Lake in February 2011.
Davis was working for Manitou Gold at the time, a mining company doing exploration work in the area, and was in the process of building a winter road when the trail groomer he was operating broke through the ice.
Dr. Michael Wilson will be the inquest coroner and Elizabeth Hellinga will be counsel to the coroner.
