The Thunder Bay inquest into the deaths of seven First Nations youth spent Wednesday focusing on the disappearance of 18-year-old Curran Strang in September of 2005.
Student Support Worker Tamara Day says she spoke with his friends the Sunday after he went missing.
Day says she had to stress to the students that it was a serious matter and that Dennis Franklin Cromarty staff were actively searching for him.
She told the jury that Curran’s friends finally told her that they were drinking with him several days before and left him alone by a river.
