A regional coroner will hear an inquest into the 2014 death of a Lac Des Iles Mine worker.
38-year-old Pascal Goulet died on July 10th of that year after he was hit by a piece of broken ore 825 metres below the surface.
The September 12th probe will look into the circumstances surrounding his death and a jury may make recommendations aimed at preventing similar fatalities.
It’s expected to last three days and hear from approximately 10 witnesses.
