Ontario’s Health Minister has finally signed off on Dr. James Arthurs credentials, 2-years after the Northwestern Health Unit hired him.
It means the Health Unit’s Chief Medical Officer of Health no longer has to carry the label “acting” in front of his title.
Arthurs admits some took the label to mean he was only filling in until a more permanent M-O-H was found.
But he concedes that the interim tag really had no impact on how he’s been able to perform his duties.
