Iron Rangers Upset Ice Dogs; Miners Fall In Thunder Bay

The slump is over for the Minnesota Iron Rangers at the expense of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.

Former Ice Dog Mark Sanchez scored on a powerplay early in the game and Rob Ivy made 35-saves as the Iron Rangers stunned Dryden GM 3-0 Friday.

The win snapped an 18-game losing skid and was only the second all year for Minnesota.

In Thunder Bay, the North Stars were firing on all cylinders in a 7-2 win over English River.

Nic Herringer scored both Miners goals.

In Fort Frances, the Thief River Falls Norskies downed he Lakers 5-1.
