Minnesota Iron Rangers goaltender Kyle Carignan posted his second consecutive shutout, stopping all 32 shots he faced in a 6-0 triumph over the Fort Frances Lakers Tuesday night in Fort Frances.
The Iron Rangers win moves them 3-points behind the Dryden GM Ice Dogs for second place with two games in hand.
Fort Frances and Minnesota meet again Thursday south of the border.
