New Gold Strikes Agreement With 2 First Nations

A new agreement pertaining to New Gold’s planned gold mine has been signed with two area First Nations.
The deal is with Rainy River and Naicathewenin First Nations.
New Gold Director of Environment and Sustainability Kyle Stanfield says it’s important to have such an agreement.
The deal ensures the two communities will benefit from employment, training and other opportunities resulting from the mine.
