A six point weekend for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
The Ice Dogs are now three points behind first and five ahead of Thunder Bay after a 5-4 shootout win at home against the North Stars last night.
Jacen Bracko had a third period goal and had the lone shootout marker to secure the win.
Evan Walls, Eric Stout and Conner Mowatt also scored in regulation.
Landon Pavlisin made 24-saves for the victory.
Earlier in the day, the English River Miners dropped a 4-2 decision to the Thief River Falls Norskies at the Cochenour Arena.
Mark Ziobro and Spencer Milne scored for the Miners, while Michael Lenko stopped 34-shots.
In other SIJHL play, Fort Frances downed visiting Minnesota 4-1.
