High school teachers in some parts of the province could be taking some job action later this month.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Association says teachers are getting frustrated with a lack of movement in contract talks.
Union President Paul Elliott says northwestern Ontario will likely be exempt initially.
Elliott suggests teachers in the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa and Sudbury could be the first to take part in any job action.
High School teachers have been without a contract for seven years.
Elliott says they want to put some pressure on school boards to start negotiating in good faith.
