Joel Birtle Lindquist

It is with great sadness that the family of Joel Birtle Lindquist, age 85, announce his passing on Sunday, September 10, 2006, at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. Joel is survived by his daughters, Heather (Dennis) Westergard of Thunder Bay, Sherry (Bob) McGogy of Vermilion Bay, Julie (Stan) Degenhardt of Saskatchewan, and Lori Wong (Guy Docs) of Thunder Bay, and Vera-Ellen (Eric) Kaiser of Dryden. 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitations will take place at the Dryden Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and at the Vermilion Bay United Church on Thursday, September 14, 2006 from 1:00pm until Service time at 2:00pm with Mr. Harry Toews officiating. Legion Honour Guard and Service to follow. Interment at the Vermilion Bay Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Vermilion Bay United Church Building Fund through Dryden Community Funeral Home 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3
