More fires for the MNR

The Ministry of Natural Resources says its dealing with an unprecedented number of forest fires in northwestern Ontario.

Over the last three days, there have been over 400 wild fires reported.

Fire information officer, Debbie McLean says if the current dry spell continues, they expect more of the same today, tomorrow, and the next day.

McLean says its gotten to the point that there are so many fires, that crews aren’t able to deal with all the new
blazes.
