The Leader of the Official Opposition in Ontario is adding his voice
to the endless call for help for the forest industry.
John Tory was in Dryden Thursday and says its time for the McGuinty
Liberals to wake up and save area communities.
Tory says the biggest problem with the forest sector is the inaction
and incompetence of the Provincial Government.
The Conservative Leader is calling on the Premier to immediately
implement the recommendations contained in the Forest Council Report.
Tory says the Government should hire an independent Chief Forester to
oversee the industry and to remove co-generation barriers.
He adds the Premier is doing nothing to address skyrocketing
electricity prices.
