The runway rehabiliation project at the Dryden Airport is now
officially underway.
Mayor Anne Krassilowksy & Kenora MP Roger Valley performed the ground
breaking ceremony this morning to start the multi million dollar job.
Her Worship says without the Federal Government’s $3.5 million
investment, the work would never be done…
Valley says the funding shows that Ottawa is aware of the needs in the
community & is willing to take action…
The work will be done by Miller Northwest & take about 6-8 weeks to
complete.
Airport Manager George Freisen promises disruptions to users will be
kept to a minimum.
