The Federal Government has decided to fund the special
medical needs of Norway House First Nation children.
NDP Aboriginal Affairs Critic Jean Crowder says it’s a
start, but notes the Federal Government should stop
bickering with provinces over who will foot the bill.

The B.C. MP’s private members bill “Jordan’s Principal”
has been endorsed, but the Conservative’s have yet to take
any real action towards resolving the funding issue.
Crowder notes there are many first nation children whose
medical bills are falling through the cracks.
