In loving memory of Josephine Christine Jackson (nee Laderoute) who passed away peacefully at Princess Court on Thursday November 16, 2006 at the age of 90. Josephine was born April 14th, 1916 in La Caloterie, France. At the age of four, Josephine moved with her family to Canada. She was raised and educated in Winnipeg, MB. Josephine met Thomas, the love of her life, and they were married on August 29th, 1933. They moved to Dryden in 1952, where Josephine worked for Cadario’s until she retired. Josephine Christine Jackson is survived by her daughter Loretta Johanson (Seth), son Ronald Jackson of Calgary, Alberta, her four grandchildren; Debbie Levesque (Guy), Carey Fitzsimmons (Doug), Patricia Wilson (Art), Tom Johanson (Melanie) and Mark Jackson, her seven great-grandchildren and her six great-great-grandchildren. Josephine will also be remembered by all he nieces, nephews, her family in France, extended family and friends. Josephine was predeceased by her husband Tom, her parents Juliette and Joseph Laderoute, her two sisters Jean Morton and Violet McGonagle and brother Jackie Laderoute. A funeral service for Josephine will be held on Tuesday November 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stevens Funeral Homes “Moffat Chapel” with Mr. John Mulders officiating. Interment in the Dryden Cemetery will follow the service.
