Jr. A Season Officially Over

It wasn’t the SIJHL representative but it was a team from Ontario that won the Canadian Jr. A Championship this weekend. The Aurora Tigers of the OPJHL scored a 7-1 win over the Kindersley Klippers to take the Royal Bank Cup Sunday in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Tigers advanced to the National Championship after winning the Dudley Hewitt Cup over 4 teams including the Fort William First Nations North Stars this year’s SIJHL Champs. The Tigers were also ranked number one in the nation after the regular season.
