A Wabigoon man and his company have been fined 10-thousand dollars for illegally harvesting timber in a Crown Forest.
Henry Wetelainen was charged after the Crown successfully appealed his January 15th acquittal.
Court heard that during a 15-day period in 2005, timber was harvested from a group of mining claims owned by the Government west of Highway 622.
Judge Peter Bishop heard the Ministry of Natural Resources appeal.
