KDCA Donation Pushes Fireworks Fund Over the Top

A promised $1,000 donation has officially pushed the Dryden Fireworks fund past its 10 thousand dollar goal. The Kenora District Campowners Association had pledge a thousand dollars towards the event, saying that businesses and people in Dryden have always supported their association. This (Thursday) morning, KDCA member Malcolm Tygesson visited CKDR and deliverd the check. This puts the balance in the Fireworks fund at the TD Bank in Dryden well over the 10 thousand dollar target. At least another one thousand dollars in pledges are anticipated. Organizers of the Fund plan to give the entire amount to the Dryden Fire Department for an even larger than normal show on Canada Day.
