Municipal levies will be the hot topic at the Kenora District Municipal
Association Conference in Dryden.
The 3 day gathering starts Thursday night, with some 100-delegates
expected to attend.
KDMA President Bill Brown says most communities are upset that
outside costs seem to be spinning out of control because of provincial
downloading.
The Boreal Forest in Northwestern Ontario, tourism opportunities and
the Northern Grow Bonds program will also be discussed.
Other topics of conversation include Pinecrest Home for the Aged
Nursing Programs and Land Ambulance services.
