There’s a new executive in place at the Kenora District Municipal Association.
Ear Falls Mayor Kevin Kahoot takes over as president of the KDMA, replacing Phil Vinet of Red Lake, who had taken on the job on an interim basis.
Kahoot is joined on the executive by Sioux Lookout Mayor Doug Lawrence, who comes on as vice-president.
Sandy Middleton a town councillor from Red Lake is second-vice.
The new executive was elected at KDMA’s annual general meeting in Ignace over the weekend.
The 2016 KDMA conference will be held in Kenora.
