The Kenora District Services Board has completed a draft
version of its 2008-2009 operating budget.
The 39.9 million dollar budget will come up for approval
at this Thursday’s board meeting.
Chief Administrative Officer Stain Leaf says it’s an
increase of 2.5%.

Area municipalities will be responsible for 13 million
dollars of the budget, Kenora’s share is 26.6%, while
Dryden will pick up 17 percent.
