KDSB Conducting Homelessness Survey

The Kenora District School Board is reaching out to each community it serves as it drafts a homelessness plan.

The KDSB has received provincial funding to conduct an inventory on the number of people who are homeless or are at risk.

Chief Administrative Officer Henry Wall says work is already underway.

Wall says the process started on April 30th in Ignace, with the final community consultation planned for the first week of June in Dryden.

He notes it will take a bit of time to put all of the information gathered together, but notes everything will be shared with community leaders and partners.
