KDSB Looking At Homelessness Funding

The Kenora District Services Board is hoping to take advantage of provincial funding to address homelessness issues across the region.
The province has announced $42-million in funding to combat the problem.
KDSB Chair Barry Baltesson believes they can tap into the funding but notes they first have to understand the rules.
The board completed a 10 year Homelessness Plan earlier this year, but has been unable to secure funding for a pilot project.
