KDSB Supporting Area Emergency Shelters

The Kenora District Services Board is investing in area homelessness
projects.
The Board has approved $24,000 in funding for the
Wii-Chii-Way Gamik Emergency Shelter in Sioux Lookout, $20,000 for the Red
Lake Area Emergency Shelter and $15,000 for the Fellowship Centre in
Kenora. (Anamiewigumming Fellowship Centre).
The KDSB has also freed up $18,000 for several child benefit initiatives
in Sioux Lookout, Dryden, Ignace, Red Lake and Kenora.
