KDSB Welcomes Ambulance Funding

The Kenora District Services Board says a promise to spend $300-million
on local ambulance services is a long time coming.
CAO Sten Lif says the 50-50 split is long overdue.
Lif says the local share under the current formula leaves
Municipalities on the hook for 65% of a nearly $8-million bill.
He says the McGuintly Liberals still needs to live up to a promise
to cover the costs of land ambulance service to First Nation communities.
