Keewatin-Patricia likes new funding

Local school boards received more information yesterday about a funding announcement made by the provincial government about extra money they will be getting this fall.

Dean Carrie is the Superintendant of Business with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and says their
share will amount to 630 thousand dollars.

Carrie says they will work with trustees to decide where the money should be spent.

He adds that one area they will benefit is funding for
remote and rural schools.
