A man wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Kenora this week has been arrested.
The Kenora Police say a 45 year old man from Kanata was
involved in a high speed chase with the O.P.P. Tuesday
afternoon in the Experimental Lakes area between Kenora and Vermillion Bay.
Police say evidence linking the man to the bank robbery was located in the stolen vehicle.
Yesterday morning, an O.P.P. Emergency Response team and
a Canine Unit were sent out to the Experimental Lakes Road
to conduct a ground search.
Further evidence, including some cash was seized.
Dean Joubert will appear in Kenora Court tomorrow on the bank robbery charges.
