The Kenora Detachment of the O.P.P. says it has laid charges in connection with a fatal boating accident in the Clearwater Bay area of Lake of the Woods.
On the last day of June, an 84 year old Winnipeg man was killed after the boat he was driving, was struck by a larger boat in Mud Bay Portage.
Three people were thrown into the water but sustained only
minor injuries, however the driver of the smaller boat was
killed.
The O.P.P. have charged 76 year old Clyde McBain of Winnipeg with careless operation of a vessel.
He’s due to appear in Kenora court on October 12th.
