Kenora MP Roger Valley is conducting a tour of Northern First Nation community’s
before heading back to Parliament Hill for the Fall session.
Valley says education and economic development opportunities will
dominate discussions.
Valley says the state of aging water systems on Aboriginal reserves is another topic that needs to be addressed.
He notes aboriginal leaders are concerned about the approach the
Harper Government is taking as well as the cancellation of Kelowna Accord.
Valley is attempting to meet with all area voters before returning to
Ottawa for the start of the Fall session.
