Population growth in the Kenora District.
The results of the 2016 Census have been released and it shows that 65,533 are living in the district.
That’s up 13.8% over the 2011 figures of 57,607.
31,800 individuals identify themselves as aboriginal.
The average age is listed as 37.6.
Sioux Lookout saw population growth of 4.7%, while Dryden experienced a 1.7% increase.
Red Lake saw a 12.1% drop in their population, while the City of Kenora also suffered a small decline.
