Kenora Drug Bust Leads To Multiple Charges

Two people from Winnipeg are in custody after Provincial Police in Kenora seized a very potent drug, considered 5,000 times more dangerous than heroin.

Last Friday, Provincial Police found carfentanyl, $1,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

The street value of the drugs is nearly $3,400.

OPP say 30-year-old John Berry faces a total of 18-charges, including possession of a loaded prohibited firearm and carrying a concealed weapon,

Police say 32-year-old Leanna Kaltenthaler faces 3-charges.

Police say the two also face trafficking charges.
