An interesting film festival is kicking off this weekend in Kenora.
The Lake of the Woods Museum has decided to dig up forgotten footage of key moments in local history.
Each Saturday the museum will host the “Rat Portage Film Festival.”
The films are made up of raw footage, others are lightly edited, and some are in documentary format.
The films deal with commercial fishing, prisoner of war camps, the famous bank robbery, and the Devil’s Gap Bungalow Camp.
The ticket cost to the film festival is the price of a regular admission to the museum.
