Support for the Kenora Police Service continues to grow,
with the final meeting on who will police the City being
held this afternoon.
A concernced citizens group has collected over 3-
thousand petitions supporting the Municipal force.
The group will be collecting signatures up until 12:30
today.
Another set of KPS supporters spent two days picketing
outside of City Hall.
The Kenora Police Costing Committee’s recommendation is
in support of the Ontario Provincial Police.
The City will vote on the matter at 4pm at the Super 8
Conference Room.
