One area community has made the list as one of the top 100 places to live in Canada.
Kenora has been ranked 65th in the MoneySense magazine annual study.
The publication highlighted Kenora for its low property taxes, wealth and economy, and access to health care.
Mayor Dave Canfield says it’s nice to be recognized, noting they have come a long way in the last ten years.
Canfield says they have concentrated on downtown revitalization, quality of life and cleaning up the community.
He says when the paper mill closed in 2006, staff and Council worked quickly to reinvent itself.
