A Kenora man has been charged with 2-counts of dangerous driving and
impaired driving after he narrowly missed a motorcycle on Highway 105.
Dryden OPP say a pickup truck veered into northbound lane and just
missed the 2-occupants on the bike.
The truck was then located parked at a turn-around just north of the
Wabigoon River bridge with the driver slumped behind the wheel.
Machin first response arrived to ensure the driver was not injured,
however the man quicky drove away, just missing one of the responders, and
hit a tree.
43-year-old John Kowalchuk fled into the bush but was arrested a
short time later.
