Kenora MP Bob Nault 2017 Year-End Interview

The Federal government is once again providing funding to help all public sector employers, small businesses and not-for-profits hire students for Summer positions.

Kenora MP Bob Nault says in 2017, our riding saw a total investment of $900-thousand dollars, with over 300-jobs created.

Nault believes the program was underutilized and underfunded for years, and his government is working very hard to change that, noting the Liberals have quadrupled the amount of money provided since coming into power.

However, he believes the government can still do more.

Priorities will focus on municipalities, small private sector organizations, tourism, forestry, health care, mining, science, education, community festivals, rural and remote areas and Indigenous communities.

Applications are now being accepted and the deadline to apply is February 2nd.
