Break out you thermal underwear…you’re going to need it.
Northwestern Ontario is about to get very cold.
Brad Roseau is a Meteorologist from the Weather Network and says a pool of frigid Arctic air is moving into our region.
Roseau notes the system will be locked in until the New Year and maybe beyond.
Roseau says temperatures will be about 10 to 15 degrees colder than normal over the next couple of weeks.
During the prolonged stretch of bitterly cold weather, the mercury will be around the mid to high -20’s.
Roseau adds there is very little snow in the long-range forecast.
