Kenora MP Happy With Meeting

The MP for the Kenora riding is pleased with how Friday’s meeting went with Prime Minister Harper and First Nations leaders.
Greg Rickford says in the three and a half hour meeting, they touched on eight main topics.
He says two of the main ones are treaty relationships and comprehensive claims.
Rickford says the Prime Minister did agree on high level discussions on both issues.
He notes that Harper will meet with National Chief Shawn Atleo in the coming weeks.
Rickford was in attendance, and says the meeting was respectful and informative.
