The deadline to have infrastructure projects funded by the Federal and Provincial Government’s completed is fast approaching.
A recent report from the Federal auditor questioned whether a number of the projects across the country would be finished before the March 31st deadline.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford says he’s been keeping close tabs on the projects in his Riding and he is pretty sure the work will be done on time.
Rickford says there is some concern in the Far North due to the shortened winter road season.
Dryden projects include the installation of lights at the Sandy Beach Ball Diamonds.
Construction of the new Sewage Treatment Plant is not impacted as funding for that project was handed out before the stimulus package was introduced.
