NDP Leader Renews Call for Hydro Relief

The Provincial NDP is continuing its attack on the McGuinty Liberals over the issue of soaring hydro rates.
The McGuinty Government has rejected an NDP Motion to take the HST off hydro.
At Queen’s Park Tuesday, Leader Andrea Horwath raised the concerns of Eliana Wittwer of Dryden and Jim Irish of Kenora.
Horwath says the additional 8% is just salt in the wound of Northern families who are having a difficult time making ends meet.
She stresses that instead of making life more affordable for people, the McGuinty Liberals are making everything more expensive.
