Kenora MP Greg Rickford is calling out several NDP MP’s for flip-flopping on the long-gun registry issue.
The Conservative is taking to task Anthony Rota, Claude Gravelle, Charlie Angus, Glen Thibeault and Carol Hughes for making a full-face retreat.
However, Rickford notes Wednesday’s vote does have a silver-lining.
Rickford says the close 153-151 margin to kill a bill to dismantle the gun registry proves the debate is alive and well.
The Conservative member says his Government has come a long way in bringing the issue to the fore-front.
Rickford adds several Liberals were also crushed in having to vote in support of the long-gun registry.
