It looks like no one will be out of work following a fire at Kenora Forest Products.
The fire took place early Saturday morning which resulted in the loss of a building and two drying kilns used to dry lumber.
Kenora MP Bob Nault issued a statement on the incident saying he spoke to the owners, and there would be no foreseeable job losses or temporary layoffs resulting from the fire damage.
Nault also reached out to Unifor to update them on the situation, and they said they are glad things will be back up and running.
He notes that as a Member of Parliament he will continue working with officials from Kenora Forest Products and Unifor to support them in their efforts as they begin the rebuilding process.
