Kenora MP Returns To Ottawa For New Session

A new session of Parliament resumes Monday in Ottawa.

Kenora MP Bob Nault says even though the Trudeau Government is halfway through its four year mandate, there’s still lots to do.

Nault says he wants to ensure the Kenora Riding gets its fair share of infrastructure and housing funding, with more money for those programs expected to roll out this year.

He stresses it’s his job to ensure we get our fair share.

Nault says more investment is needed in those two areas, in order to build a vibrant economy in the north.

He adds improving our health care system is another priority, indicating it’s hard to build the economy with poor health care and health care facilities.

Nault suggests the government is a long way away from addressing those issues.
