Kenora MP Upset with “Corporate Decision”

Kenora MP Greg Rickford says his heart goes out to the workers and families impacted by the shutdown of the paper and converting operation at the Dryden Domtar Mill.
Rickford says he plans to meet shortly with Domtar to discuss competitive market opportunities for the facility.
He says its essential that all involved work together to ensure the long-term stability of the pulp operation.
Rickford adds his main goal is to push for economic diversification in Dryden and other Northwestern Ontario communities.
