A member of the Kenora Police will appear before a hearing under the Police Services Act in September.
Sergeant Tom Favreau faces 10 charges under the Police Services Act for deceit, neglect of duty and acting in a manner to bring discredit to the Kenora Police.
Favreau appeared before a hearing officer this morning to have the charges read.
He was one of two members of the Kenora police involved in
a murderinvestigation five years ago.
The judge hearing the case accused the officers of misconduct in the way they handled their investigation.
Favreau has been charged with failing to make necessary entries, altering records and knowingly making a false statement.
