Charges against a member of the Kenora Police will be filed next week under the Police Services Act.
Sergeant Tom Favreau is scheduled to appear before a hearing officer on May 10th, to have his charges under the Code of Conduct read to him.
A formal hearing date will also be set at that time.
Favreau is one of two Kenora Police officers facing misconduct charges.
A judge stayed charges in a manslaughter trial last year
after citing misconduct by the investigating officers.
Sergeants Favreau and Lloyd White were the lead investigators looking into the death of Max Kakegamic in downtown Kenora in October of 200o.
