The Kenora Police Services draft operating budget has
increased slightly by 7-thousand dollars.
Net expenditures total over 4.2 million dollars, Chief
Dan Jorgenson says that doesn’t include wage and benefit
increases.
Jorgenson adds they’ve been able to make a little extra
money this year, by providing criminal record checks.

Part time employees have been helping fill the jobs in
the criminal record program.
The new initiative is generating an extra 33-thousand
dollars in cash for the Kenora Police Service.
