A scare at Kenora schools Tuesday morning after all schools were placed on immediate lockdown around 10 o’clock.
Provincial Police received a call that a man had been spotted with a firearm in the trail system in the north end of Kenora, near a number of schools.
Officers responded and within a short time located and arrested two people.
OPP say the threat has been contained and officers are now searching the area for evidence.
Three schools remain locked as police investigate.
