The public is being invited to attend an Ignace Community Nuclear Liaison Committee meeting Tuesday.
Doctor Jeremy Whitlock is scheduled to address those in attendance.
He has 21-years of experience as a physicist and manager at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in Chalk River.
Whitlock is now the Communications Director of the Canadian Nuclear Society.
He will talk about radiation and its origins, risks, benefits, measurement and control.
The meeting starts at 7:00 at the Silver Tops Senior’s Centre.
